I never gave one thought to the idea of handmade sunglasses until I stumbled upon Anni Shades. You see what they do and it changes your whole perspective on the everyday items you take for granted. I love these talented folks. Based in Alliance, Ohio, Anni Shades creates masterpieces in wood, using the most exotic of woods: legally sourced cocobolo, ebony, bloodwood, curly maple, sapele, and bamboo. Yeah, I hadn’t heard of half of those either. All I know is that their works is amazing. Check out these pictures of their workshop. What do you think? Would you buy a pair of handmade sunglasses?
