Robin Marie Pedrero
Robin Maria Pedrero paints the spirit and energy of life in rhythmic layers of color. She responds to what catches her eyes and heart personifying nature, evoking a range of moods with a touch of whimsy. “I use a symbolic visual language exploring both the visible and invisible creating a commentary on relationships and thoughts. As I work the images can be unexpected flowing from gathered memories. Music plays a role in my process and seeps into my art. I build layers making connections and a story comes forth and unfolds. The work evolves, and quite often by the time the painting is finished it has a history of stories interwoven in the layers.”
Born in Connecticut in 1964, Pedrero studied painting with professional artists and exhibited at the Mystic Art Association as a teen. Pedrero is an award winning artist with work in museum permanent collections, film, and collected worldwide. Pedrero has worked from her Florida studio since 1989. She is an elected signature member of the Pastel Society of America. She was awarded Best Artist in Florida 2012 by Baterbys Art Auction Gallery and listed in Florida International Magazine’s Florida Artists Hall of Fame.

Jeff League
Florida artist Jeff League explores the possibilities of photography on canvas. His recent work combines fine art photography with the rare medium of encaustic painting (bee’s wax and resin, with and without pigment) a medium originally used by the ancient Egyptians and Greeks. League’s perception of this material is compatible with his subject of exploration – myth and nature.

Lotta Helleberg
Lotta Helleberg is a textile artist with a background in graphic design and print making. She works primarily with linen and utilizes a technique in which leaves and other plant material are coated with paint and pressed onto fabric. She is also exploring natural dyes and eco-printing, where the plants themselves release color pigments which bond with the fabric. The resulting impressions are incorporated into quilts, fabric collages, and a variety of functional and decorative objects.

Kal Barteski
Kal Barteski is an artist who paints, designs, photographs and writes stuff. Everyday and in all sorts of media. At the moment, she’s enthralled with the dramatic scripting of her sumi brush. But, when she’s not painting letters she mixes it up with wildlife, abstract, and what ever else her heart desires. She’s like a chameleon that way. She has studied art in three provinces and two countries. Her art has been featured in magazines, on wine bottles, album covers, clothing lines, giftware and concrete wolves + bears. She’s an award-winning illustrator + graphic designer.
