When I worked in Washington, D.C., many moons ago, I used to sit on the Metro and watch a few talented commuters, men and women, doing something that I found pretty hypnotic: knitting. I remember one day in particular where I almost missed my stop because I was so caught up in the rhythmic dance of a master knitter sitting directly in front of me. Known to sooth the soul and to create some pretty nifty knits, it’s a talent that I wished I had picked up. Maybe Gridjunkie can give me a lesson the next time I’m in San Jose. Until then, I’ll just be an admirer, like I am of Namolio.
With an amazing array of warm and soothing colors, Namolio’s pin cushions are made from linen and covered with a gorgeous linen crochet motif. So pretty, you almost don’t want to stick a pin in it! If you have a knitter in your friends or family, wouldn’t this make a great gift? I think it’s a perfect 1AM Promise purchase.
