In my travels to find new and exciting handmade goodies to share with you, I often discover artists who, although talented, seem to be buried in the mass of shops on Etsy. While I am a fan of a more indie experience, I do know that many handmakers get their start on Etsy. What I want to do is to help you get even more exposure for your shops. Hence, Etsy Share! Here’s how it works:

  1. Post a link in the comments to one specific item in your shop that you would like to promote.
  2. Provide, if you have one, at least one link to your social media accounts.
  3. If you have a discount code, please provide it in the comments. If you create a discount code exclusively for the LAB, make a note of it and I will promote the shops that do on other posts throughout the month. The code should include the word ‘LAB’ in it and the discount amount.

One last thing: If you use Twitter and would like me to get even more promotion, post a link to an item in your shop and add the hashtag #etsyshare. I promise to retweet like there’s no tomorrow.

  1. Hey Brett,

Wow, what a generous offer this is. Thanks! I agree: Talented people get lost in the online shuffle, not just in Etsy. Let me know how we can say thanks for the exposure assistance!
