LAB News & Notes:

Today’s LAB Assignment is an open forum. One of my goals with LAB Community Week is to get to know you folks better. In fact, this Friday, I am hosting the first ever LAB Google Hangout. The Hangout hold 9 people at a time, so I’ll be planning sessions all day. More details will follow later today. OK, back to the Assignment.

For today’s LAB Assignment, I have a few questions for you folks. Feel free to leave a reply below and respond to any comments that you enjoy.

  1. What is your idea of community? How would you build it?
  2. If you could collaborate with anyone, living or dead, who would it be?
  3. What do you think the handmade community can do to further encourage people to choose handmade first?
  4. Chocolate: Dark or Milk?

That last one is the most important question of all times, ever.

  1. I think community means getting to know others who share your likes and values. It would involve communication for sure. If the community is stretched over a large space, then some kind of online regular meeting place would be essential.
