My bicycle obsession continues with look at PUBLIC bikes. I actually first encountered PUBLIC and their sweet wheels at the ginormous GAP in downtown San Francisco. I’ve been lusting after them ever since. I just watched Urbanized, a film by master documentarian Gary Hustwit, and there were several segments about towns, like the one in Bogotá, Colombia, that are completely geared toward bicycle riders. It’s really cool. The Bay Area has a great bike culture and PUBLIC, based in San Francisco, offers a great selection of well-designed cycles for the modern two-wheel traveler.
