Stamps are so hot right now, so I figured I’d tempt you with a couple of great ones from Rike and her bastisRIKE shop. You know you need a little more love in your life, so why not say it with this fresh stamp?  One of the things I like about Rike’s shop is that her description is adequately detailed. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is when handmakers don’t give enough descriptive information. Let us know what makes your item special, folks!

For instance, about Rike’s stamps: The stamp is mounted on varnished beech wood block. Rike notes that her stamp designs are not created with a computer, but are made with pen and ink. She scans them, without making any modifications more than dust-cleaning. This ensures that the hand-written and drawn characters remain essentially untouched. Now, it may seem like a small detail, but a good description gives a blogger the needed insight to make your work stand out. Thanks Rike! Here are a few more stamps to add to your collection.

The bastisRIKE shop also features a few prints of note. Both of these would look great in any space. I think I’m particularly partial to the ABC print with the black background. Which one do you like?

As I was snooping around Rika’s handmade world, I stumbled upon her blog and it is a lovely one. OK, can someone tell me how she did the floating snowflakes, because LOVE! Here’s a recent post of hers featuring some new stamps for her international orders. By the way, Rika: I am totally feeling you on the whole accountant thing!

Lastly, you can’t have a Handmade Trifecta without social media and Rika has that covered as well. You can find her on Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook. Be sure to connect and let her know you saw her lovely shop and blog on the LAB.
